Removing Wrinkles with modern laser technology

Back to Blog

Wrinkles make you look tired and stressed out-so if you have hardly any, you look younger. Fractional laser treatment without surgery or injections will reduce the existing wrinkles.

Wrinkles are inevitable

Even before age 30 the once youthful skin was affected by various influences. Through the years, wrinkle development and other symptoms of aging are increasing:

  • The initial loss of collagen and elastin is robbing the skin of its softness and making it sag.
  • The facial expressions are imprinted distinctly on the skin surface.
  • Loss of moisture makes the skin thinner and more wrinkle-prone.
  • The rest does gravity. This induces wrinkles in different head, neck and décolleté areas.
  • Luxury foods such as nicotine and alcohol leave their mark, as does stress at work and insufficient sleep.

These aging processes result in various forms of wrinkles from lower to higher depth. Experience has shown that the laser can treat superficial and medium-deep wrinkles very well. Advanced laser technology can't invisibly render deeper folds, but it can greatly soften them in many situations.

What wrinkles can the laser smooth out?

With laser treatment, the following types of wrinkles can be neutralised or at least weakened:

  • different types of facial wrinkles
  • Wrinkles on the neck
  • Wrinkles on the cleavage

We should treat finer wrinkles around the lips, at the cheeks and around the ears, for example. A combined treatment will effectively fix deeper wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds that burrow between the corners of the mouth and nostrils. Instead, laser treatment is followed by guided injection of wrinkles. For that reason a padding filler material is used. One of our accomplished Doctors will be happy to advise you on request.
In the case of coarse-pored skin, laser treatment can also make the skin look nicer. Scars  as well as age and pigment spots  can also be successfully treated with our method.

This is how laser wrinkle treatment works

We use the so-called fractional laser treatment (laser resurfacing skin) for the treatment of your wrinkles. Procedure advantage: The skin isn't stressed as much. During a laser wrinkle treatment session, laser energy covers a maximum of one fifth of the treated area. We 're moving step by step toward growing success. Follow-up treatments every few weeks should ensure that the entire skin region can benefit from the effect.
The principle of our method:

  • The laser pulses penetrate the outermost layer of skin without injuring it.
  • The hand piece of the laser device scatters (fractionally) the light impulses like a grid over many small tissue areas. Larger areas remain intact between the points of impact.
  • Where the light energy hits skin cells, heat is generated. The cells hit go down. They gradually replace the body's self-healing powers with new, vital cell material.

As a result of the aesthetic treatment, the skin usually looks fresher and rosier. Experience has shown that after several treatments, the wrinkles have more or less disappeared. Laser treatment can counteract skin aging in most cases.

The laser also stimulates collagen formation

Laser treatment has another effect that can have a positive effect on your complexion. The process creates countless micro-injuries in the deeper layers of the skin. This can stimulate the formation of new collagen. These long-chain protein molecules form the skeleton of our skin, so to speak. Unfortunately, they get less and less with age. The collagen boost that the laser can bring tightens the skin in the medium to long term. The wrinkle reduction is supported so well.

How many treatments are required?

Usually 3 to 5 treatment sessions are sufficient for optimal results. We usually do this every few weeks. In the meantime, the skin tissue in the treatment region can regenerate. Your practitioner can usually assess the further need for treatment well. The first results are usually already visible after treatment. Experience has shown that the full effect is seen after 4 to 5 months. Good UV protection is important before the treatment series and during the rest periods between sessions. Tanned skin complicates the treatment or, depending on the degree of tanning, makes it completely impossible. Adequate sun protection also prevents possible side effects such as skin discoloration.
