10 easy and effective skin care tips for working women

Back to Blog

Every new day is a challenge for working people - getting up early, preparing breakfast and doing other household chores, rushing to work, doing office work, rushing back home, and more. In the hectic pace of everyday life, it is usually forgotten to take time to care for your own skin. If the beauty program is neglected or even skipped, this can result in serious consequences for the skin. For example, unexpected acne, dry and rough skin, wrinkles, sagging and tired skin.

1. What is your skin type?

Determining your skin type is important in order to choose the right and well-tolerated skin care products and to determine a correct daily treatment. Is your skin type oily, dry or normal? Get professional advice from our certified beauticians at your home and suggest the right care products for your skin type.

2. Drink lots of water

It is probably the easiest way to take care of your skin naturally. Drinking plenty of water not only keeps the skin moist, but is also helpful for overall health. Especially when things get hectic in everyday life and the air conditioning in the office fails and the temperature rises to an unbearable level. Because the skin is the largest organ in the body, it needs plenty of fluids to stay healthy and function properly.

3. Clean your skin

As a professional, you are exposed to free radicals, pollutants, dust and sun rays every day. These elements are very harmful and can seriously damage your skin if you don't do anything about it. Even if your skin doesn't look cracked or dirty, you need to clean it regularly and properly. For example, you can wash your face with a gentle facial cleanser, but make sure it's suitable for your skin type.

4. Take a gentle skin peel

Over time, your skin renews itself and sloughs off dead skin cells. A light peeling of the skin can help you to have smoother skin. A daily peeling or scrubbing is not recommended because the skin has to recover from the peeling. A cosmetic rule of thumb for peeling is: use a light peeling twice a week and gently massage the face with circular upward movements. Our professional beauticians will tell you which peeling is suitable for your skin and how often you can use it .

5. Use a pH neutral moisturizer

Every skin type needs moisture. In hectic everyday life at home or in the office, the skin dries out very quickly, especially in the heat or under strong sun. Applying good sunscreen every day is essential for your skin to avoid harmful sun exposure. For this you can choose a good multi-purpose product that contains hydration and sun protection and at the same time cares for your skin. There are some good products like BB and CC creams that cover everything for the stressful everyday life as a moisturizer, serum, primer, primer and sun protection with sun protection factor (SPF). Choose the right products for your skin and use them every day before starting the day.

6. Avoid body soap on the face

Your facial skin is more delicate than that of your body. The use of body soap on the face can dry the skin very quickly and remove its natural suppleness. So only use the gentle facial cleanser when you wash your face, because they are specially designed to gently cleanse the skin.

7. Use Tonics

Not every facial cleanser gently removes dirt and grease from the skin. In this case, a good and alcohol-free tonic (facial tonic) is practical to remove the dirt and residues of the face wash and prevent the formation of acne.

8. Sleep well

Lack of sleep causes sagging skin, wrinkles and dark circles under the eyes. The tiredness is also evident on your skin. Adequate sleep, around 8 hours a night, is very important for the regeneration of your skin. A good night's sleep will help you relieve stress so that you look better and feel better. If you have mature skin, it is also recommended to use a neutral night cream that contains antioxidants and anti-aging ingredients.

9. Reduce stress

Everyone has stress in life, but there are different ways to deal with it. Keep in mind that stress is harmful for so many reasons and can be extremely stressful for your skin. It not only harms your health, but also your overall appearance. Learn the techniques that can help you overcome everyday and life stress. Because a stress-free life also means beautiful, young and healthy skin.

10. Watch your skin

Diet, weather, medical conditions, and other elements can all have negative effects on your skin. Take care of your skin and consult your dermatologist immediately if you notice any abnormalities or unexpected rashes. Early detection is important to get correct treatment. Would you like personal advice on your skin and the right skin care ? Book a professional beautician with you and have all open questions on the topic explained.
